Default skins aren't working for Sims with a higher body mass

Hello.

I’d like to share a frustration I’ve been experiencing when using default skins in my game. I’ve noticed that when I use them in CAS (Create-A-Sim), all Sims —regardless of gender or age— appear with whatever custom default skin I install. However, when it comes to playing the game in simulation mode, the default skins (in general) stop working for Sims with more body mass. Yes, this happens only and exclusively to Sims with more body fat; the rest continue to appear with the customized default skin without any issues.

I’ve already tried removing all other custom content and mods from my game to see if there was any kind of conflict, but the problem persists regardless. I’ve also tried clearing my game’s cache, but that was a failed attempt as well.

I’m posting this on the forum because I’d like to understand if this issue is caused by an update to the skin textures, and if other players using default skins are experiencing the same problem, since I haven’t seen any complaints about this anywhere, which makes me think the issue is specific to my game.
