Connection is Required error when logging in on PlayStation

I downloaded the new update today on my PS5 and it keeps saying to login to my EA account to use online features. My Internet is working fine so this has to be an EA issue. Is there a way to fix this? Also, my Sims on my home screen have been stripped of their clothes and my female Sim no longer looks pregnant. I'm scared to fully load into my save. Help, what do I do?

Scratch all that I've said below! I was rereading posts here and looking at my game Options when I realized that in Game Options > Other I didn't have "Online Social Features Access" displayed at all, but had "Link EA Account" button! Pressed it, relinked my PSN and EA accounts and now it works! It's weird that it got unlinked in the first place, as I had it linked since The Sims 4 console release, but all is good that ends good! 😅

Now I can play limited time event! Such a relief!

Let's be sure your EA account and PSN are fully linked.

From the main menu of The Sims, head to Game Options-> Other and select the option there to link your EA account. Once you're fully linked up, try a full restart on your game and let me know how that looks please.

In the option menu under other there is no link EA account to be spoken of.

I'm having the same issue since updating today. Additionally, the majority of settings are reset to default each time I open the game. I change them back before loading a save, but they revert the next time I launch the game. Despite the message stating I need to log in to my EA account, the gallery is working just fine. I play on PS5 and my Playstation and EA accounts are still linked.

I have over 70 packs lol I own all EPs except Eco Lifestyle. For the GPs I own Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Parenthood, Strangerville, Realm of Magic,Dream Home Decorator, My Wedding Stories. I own all SPs. For kits I own Restoration Workshop, Sleek Bathroom, Blooming Rooms, Comfy Gamer, Book Nook, Kitchen Clutter, Pastel Pop, Country Kitchen, Cozy Bistro, Decor to the Max, Little Campers, Desert Luxe, Simtimates, Bathroom Clutter, Greenhouse Haven, Basement Treasures, Grunge Revival, Goth Galore, Party Essential, Riviera Retreat, Artist Studio, Storybook Nursery, Sweet Slumber party, Sweet Allure, Urban Homage. I'm pretty sure that's everything. I did look through my owned packs. They all say installed.

Yes I did that about 2 hours ago and that's when the clothes disappeared off my sim. At first it was just the being unable to use online features issue. The hair was missing off my male sim so I went ahead and restored license just in case something went wonky with the update. Lo and behold now he's naked and my female Sim has no pants on. Tried to just load in and I got the big message warning that I was missing content. I did not proceed, I promptly closed my game.
