Game keeps crashing!!

My game Sims 4 keeps crashing no matter what save I’m on!  I’ve tried all the things, reset Xbox One, deleted game and redownloaded twice, was on the phone for over an hour with support today for them to just say, yeah I don’t know… this is frustrating!! I’ve spent a lot of money on all the add ons to this game and would like to enjoy them but am unable to for the past month I would say… can anyone help me???

    @princesszina81 

    If the crashing is happening even on a different console from your cloud saves, that tells us the save files are most likely corrupt. Corrupted save files can occur as a result of a connectivity issue or power loss when the game save file is being created or synced with the cloud. This can also happen if the console is powered down while still in the process of saving. 

    In the future to prevent this, I always recommend waiting a minute or two to close the game and power off your console after you've saved so the game has sufficient time to complete the save to the cloud. In addition, if you have a large number of save files, you may have reached the capacity limit for cloud saves. Try reducing the number of save files to be sure no other saves become corrupt.

    Hi @princesszina81,

    Where exactly in-game are you seeing this crashing happening, is this when you're trying to load into a save, exiting/entering Build/Buy mode, traveling, etc?

    My game loads into my saves and works until I try to play a household, then it crashes. I’ve been on the phone with XBox all morning and went through all the troubleshooting steps to ensure it wasn’t my Console with the issue. I’ve even tried playing from a different Xbox and it still crashes. I’ve deleted the local saves, removed and added my profile and completely reset my Xbox..

    If your game is crashing using your cloud saves as well, it sounds like these save files unfortunately have become corrupted. In that case, we aren't able to restore these files for you, you'd need to delete the cloud saves as well and start a brand new save file.

    Dude… do you know how bad that would suck!! I’ve been playing this game for years and to have all that lost… how would I know for sure if that’s what is happening?  And how does a file get corrupted so that I can avoid that in the future?

    @princesszina81 One last thing you can try before giving up on that save is evicting the household and placing them in an empty lot. See if you can load them there.

    My game keeps crashing too. But it won't even let me go into the game. I resume or select a save file & as soon as the load up music plays it crashes to the xbox home screen. I can't even play at all ☹️

    Mine is doing the same thing and I spent so much money on this game I own all the expansion packs and can't play at all I have talked with Ea they blow me off I don't know what to do I have tried everything

    I am still having this issue as well, only the game crashes after 5mins playing the game or 10mins just watching my sims do whatever they want. I have looked into similar topics with Xbox Series X crashing after the update and have done what had been asked but again nothing. I have this game on the PC and many of the same expansions give or take one or two and this version is fine; but I do not like playing it on the PC, it bores me. 

    Xbox Series X crashes after 5-10mins - The update went through without a hitch, no disconnectivity and no interruptions but crashes; unplayable.

    PC version - Perfect, works after update even though I had connectivity issues and had to pause the download twice during the update, however nothing has affected its gameplay.....but boring.

    Any word on a fix for the Xbox crash or is there not enough people complaining about the issue for it to be corrected?
