I am playing sims4 on xbox one and get this kind of problem too.
I think it is because i played (only) this single playline for many years ... with a lot of data that accumulate.
That generates a lot of digital waste and mistakes over time.
For PC would by a way to clean this , but for xbox not.
At the end i had to delete this storage-level of this gamer-profil ! completely ! ... yes - it was sad, but i did not found another way.
Perhaps this is also true for your sims4 strorage-level ...
