Sims 4 kicking me to manage worlds after i select play my sims (PS4)

hi! i have sims 4 on my playstation and it does not let me play my sims. it used to work perfectly fine up until i had to do a fire drill. unfortunately every time i select to play my sims, it immedi...

    i solved it! basically i had to just upload all the sims and houses to the gallery and make a new world and just do it from there. it took me a couple of hours but i think it worked and is working fine. thank you!

those were the ones repeated when the high school expansion pack was downloaded onto my sims 4. Thank you!

Thank you for these details! Let's try the following to clear up this issue for you:

  • Try a full power-cycle on your console and router/modem
  • Check that your EA account and PSN ID are properly linked together 
  • Change your DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use) 
  • Restore the Licenses on your console

  • Make sure your console system software is up to date 

    • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen
    • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install
    • Reboot your PlayStation
  • Check that your game is fully updated:
    • Go to the PlayStation home screen
    • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller
    • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available
    • Restart the Console completely

If these steps don't help, please test a brand new save file and let me know if the issue persists there as well.

    unfortunately i’m still having the same problem im going to have to redownload everything without the high school years pack again ☹️
