Sims 4 ps4, Sims won't complete tasks

Question

I just bought the Sims 4 for the PlayStation 4. I was very excited to play but I ran into a game breaking bug. My Sims won't complete tasks. If they are hungry or need to use the bathroom and I try to complete that task they won't do it and will starve or wet themselves. The game is completely unplayable for me currently.my Sims just stand there looking at the wall. I anyone having this issue? Is there a fix? Or will I have to wait for a patch? Frame rates are also not great but I expected that on PlayStation.

Look in your settings and make sure Autonomy is set to "on." If it is, try toggling it back and forth between on and off.

I keep giving this advice for this problem but have no idea if this is good advice or not.. it's just all I can think of doing. :P

Try to reset your sim, maybe that will fix the problem you're having? Press L1,L2,R1 and R2 to bring up the cheat bar, then type in resetSim and the first and last name of the sim you want to reset and press enter

My Sim still wouldn't&nbsp;quit their job. She kept cancelling it out.
