The Sims 4 on Console - Feedback Thread

The Camera mode after the update is buggy. When you zoom in or zoom out in camera mode it increases or decreases the game speed for some reason.  It only pauses once you zoom out Mutiple times. I play on the  Xbox one and currently have these issues after the new update. 

I am on the xbox and to be honest I really do not like that fact you have changed the bumper buttons and the LT and RT in game play

I'm so used to pressing bumper to pause the game, I really can not understands why you keep changing our controls about its really annoying, you say its to improve game play but its not it just makes it a pain to play and having to learn the controls all over again, its like learning to drive on the other side of the road with a car that is not from your country. 

I also noticed you have not change the save button back to A its still RT which I can not understand why that was changed too.

I love the fact you have put the menu back to the way it was in the build mode being able to scroll up and down and not have to use the cursor and being able to close the menu again so we can see the whole build is wonderful so thank you for doing that.

I am looking forward to not having to keep selling my washing machines and rebuying them.

Please can you revert having to press R2 to accept or confirm sometimes it R2 sometimes its x its confusing no other console game uses R2 to confirm

Since the update today the R2, (trigger button) on PS4 which is used to delete notifications and confirm "ok" on many choices in the game, INCREASES the game speed. So every time you use it for "ok" or to clear notifications, the game jumps to 2X speed. Did EA even play test this?

Can R1/L1 be time again and R2/L2 be the sim change?

@EA_CadeI am BEGGGGIIIING you to revert the live mode changes.
Switching how we pause the game/switch sims is absolutely not needed. We have been playing the same way for years and it is ingrained in our muscle memory.
Now we are suddenly speeding up our game instead of switching sims.
Please please change that back.

Editing to say when in full screen mode (tab mode for pc players), the same button used to zoom in, now also presses play on the game which makes taking screenshots impossible. As a person who tells stories on Twitter, that’s a no go for me anymore. 

I'ma say it, the buttons are killing me. Please by all the is sacred go back to the old buttons.

Thank you, would you mind also filling out a report here for this one as it sounds like a bug?

If we can gather other examples of this happening I can flag it to the right people for investigation. 

@EA_Cade i have created a bug report for this now. As a person who’s main gameplay involves taking screenshots… this is very frustrating
