Unable to place new house on household lot

After the April 29th update, I tried to place a new house on my household's lot, but I was unable to; I assumed it was a bug and tried to place the new house on a different lot in the same world, which worked. Grim also decided that he was going to overstay his welcome, even when I commanded my sim to have everyone leave.

    Thanks, try fully bulldozing this lot, and then try placing that house down again. 

    If you still have issues, we'll want to try the following:
    Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on.

    Check that your game is fully updated:

    • Go to the PlayStation home screen. 
    • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
    • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
    • Restart the Console completely.

     

    Make sure your console system software is up to date. 

    • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
    • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
    • Reboot your PlayStation.

     

    Having issues with a system software update? Follow these guides:

     

    Uninstall and Reinstall the game:

    • Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.
    • Select a game or application.
    • Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.
    • Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.

    I'm not able to see the video attached to your post, can you give me a bit of detail on what happens when you try to place that lot down? Are you seeing a specific error message?

    There is no specific error message. When I go to put the house down, the screen loads and then shows the move house icon with a check mark. When I go to click it, nothing happens, but it works on other lots in the same world.

    It's not exactly a new save, but I was able to place a house from the gallery on a different existing save.
