build mode opens by itself

Every time I create a family and move them into a house and start playing as I would normally do the build mode opens and even if I click to go into the live mode it would go back to build mode. I've been having this problem for several months... so I removed all CC and mods (I found the broken CC) even when I removed the CC and mods it would still happen. So I uninstalled the game and installed it again and I put my (not broken) mods back and it was fine but when I put the CC (Before I found the broken CC) it broke the game again soooo I uninstalled it and forgot about it for a couple of months... So now I want to play I deleted all the CC and mods and installed the game and its still HAPPENING...................... I don't know what else to do! PLEASE HELP
