Can't get into EA app on Mac

I'm unable to connect to EA servers to download/play The Sims 4 on my Mac. My internet connection is working fine on all other apps and websites. What should I do? Claude said this is an EA bug, but I'm not sure. 

My setup: macOS Tahoe 26 (latest version) and  EA app installed and up to date

What I've already tried:

- Flushed DNS cache via Terminal

- Cleared EA app cache

- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app

- Tried running the EA app through Rosetta

- Checked Full Disk Access in System Settings — the EA app does not appear in the list at all (I believe this is a known macOS Tahoe 26.1 bug affecting Full Disk Access)

- Checked EA server status — no reported outages

- Disabled VPN
