CAS and camera settings super glitchy

I have been limiting my use of the sims 4 on my mac because CAS is unusable with how glitchy it is. I can't edit any of my sims features, it glitches to the extreme and I can't get it back to normal. I can't even rotate around them in CAS. The same thing happens when my sims try to take a picture, I have no control over the camera and it glitches to the extreme when I try to move it.

I saw previous posts on the forum with responses claiming the issue was fixed in an August 2022 patch, but this device was purchased in December 2023 and has had the issue since it's purchase, playing with no mods and after repairing and redownloading the game. 

Does anyone have any solutions? CAS is one of the best and most advanced parts of the sims 4 and it definitely makes it less playable when it doesn't work. 

I have the 2023 MacBook Air with an M2 chip and macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

    Hey, been having that same problem since having my macbook pro M3. Happens in both full screen and windowed, with sims 3 camera turned on\off. I read the thread that mentioned the aug 2022 patch tho the problem still occurs. Also, when changing a feature it affects other features (moving eyebrow changes the eye too for example).

    I'm using a wireless logitech G305 mouse.

    MOSCHILON Thanks for trying. Did you move any of the files from your old Sims 4 folder into the new one? Did you change any settings in Game Optinos > Graphics?

    Would be really helpful if you could post a video of the issue you're having 🙂

    thank you for the response. yet to move any old sims 4 files, having the problem since first launched the base game only. i recorded a video but somehow can't upload it idk why :( tho it shows that when i spin my sim, suddenly it spins to the other direction, or when i move the eye, a close area gets affected too, like the brow. the mouse control is HORRIBLE. :'(

    MOSCHILON what are your Trackpad settings in System Settings? Could you post screenshots from the Point & Click and the Scroll & Zoom tabs.

    Upload the video to YouTube or similar and share it here. It can be unlisted.  Or simply upload to a file sharing site and paste the link here.
