CAS and camera settings super glitchy
I have been limiting my use of the sims 4 on my mac because CAS is unusable with how glitchy it is. I can't edit any of my sims features, it glitches to the extreme and I can't get it back to normal....

MOSCHILON Thanks for trying. Did you move any of the files from your old Sims 4 folder into the new one? Did you change any settings in Game Optinos > Graphics?

thank you for the response. yet to move any old sims 4 files, having the problem since first launched the base game only. i recorded a video but somehow can't upload it idk why :( tho it shows that when i spin my sim, suddenly it spins to the other direction, or when i move the eye, a close area gets affected too, like the brow. the mouse control is HORRIBLE. :'(
MOSCHILON what are your Trackpad settings in System Settings? Could you post screenshots from the Point & Click and the Scroll & Zoom tabs.

MOSCHILON thanks! Mine are below for comparison, I don't have the issue you have (various Macs all using Trackpads). Could you change your settings to mine and see if it still happens (obviously using the Trackpad in-game, not mouse)? Make sure they are exactly the same. Hopefully it fixes it and we can then try to narrow down the exact setting that could be causing it 🤞
thank you. changed the settings, still the same problem. also tried to remove the mouse usb completely from the mac and try it only with the trackpad, still nothing. :(
MOSCHILON I don't know what else to suggest 😟 users have reported CAS and camera issues like this for years but nothing that has a definite link such as the same OS, same model Mac, specific game update, specific Apple update. Reports are sporadic though and randomly it just seems to right itself again. life & work made me to abandon ts4 for almost a year. updated my sims now and the problem still happening. i have read the thread from 8 years ago and saw there wasn't a total solution. i'm curious if there's any update about it.
