My game won't close (I'm on Mac), it just keeps saying "saving." It's stuck at that, and I can't close my MacBook. What do I do?

Force quit the Sims 4.
From 'Press these three keys together: Option (or Alt), Command, Esc (Escape). 'Or choose Force Quit from the Apple menu in the corner of your screen.'
Then select The Sims 4 and it will close it. However, doing this will lose whatever you hadn't saved.
