Lighting on low creates black lines on floor

For some reason when my lighting setting is on low (which i prefer it on) it creates these weird black triangles on the ground. They also disappear and reappear whenever I move the angle on the mo...

Hi @Natalieterry_xo,

I can see why those lines can be annoying! Let's try to fix it. 🙂

I have just tried setting my game's graphics to low but I get no lines. Would you mind giving me some more information? I'd need two things:

  1. A screenshot of your graphics settings in the game.
  2. Your dxdiag. If you need help to get a dxdiag, take a look here.

Thanks for getting back to me!

I will attach a photo of my graphics settings.

However i couldn't post the second one as i have a mac and it didn't give me instructions on how to for a mac.

How would i go about getting my dxdiag on a mac?

      I moved your thread to The Sims Mac board 😉

      It is not possible to get a dxdiag on a Mac. Instead, just share your Mac's specifications as it is explained here.
