Hey @Mettekroken deleting the file userdata.lock should have no impact on the game.

When you say it's all gone what do you mean, are you unable to launch the game or is it a case that once launched your existing game is not there?

It's no harm resetting Origin on your system as it does fix a number of issues: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

Thanks 🙂 What is showing in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves folder?

@EA_Darko My existing game is not there.

@Bluebellflora Some files named slot...

@EA_Darko After resetting Origin the game will not open. It says initialization error at start up.

Hey @Mettekroken where are you seeing this error?

Is it when you launch the game or does the game launch and then the error appears?

Do you have any mods installed, if so can you go ahead and remove them all and then try again.
