My Game won't start up

two days ago I tried to play, and I opened the EA app and hit play and the screen wouldn't pop up, it just stayed on my desktop screen and when I double clicked it in my dock it said "application not responding", and after about a minute it closes out and brings me back to the EA app. Just before I had hit play though I bought and downloaded Eco lifestyle and Home chef hustle. Even when I try to start up the game when it's not responding, it still logs my time played even when I haven't been able to reach the title screen or get the game to open up.

Ive tried removing the local cache and repairing my game several times and I've restarted my Mac and I've opened my sims 4 mod manager to see if I needed to update things or get rid of anything that might be causing issues but still nothing has helped. I use quite a few mods but I've taken out any script mods, I'm not sure what else I should do...

I am using a macOS Monterey. MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016)
