My sims 4 game is not working at all

Hi guys,

I play sims 4 on my macbook. Recently i got 2 new packs: Cottage living and horse ranch, i played all day after buying them, later that night i was trying to make a new family and every time it was time to buy a house after making the family it would go back to the picking a world page and glitch. I deleted all my mods to make sure it wasn’t due to a mod being broken, i deleted the localthumbcache.package file, i did everything that’s to do with deleting files. I then deleted the ea app and re installed it and uninstalled sims 4 and re installed it. When i opened it it says i need to download all the packs and i’ll get a notification when it’s done. There is no option to download all the packs and all my family’s i’ve made that wear clothes or hairs from packs are bald with no clothes. It lets me into a game and play for 3 minutes and then it starts glitching and nothing works for example i can’t place any walls and in living mode it says paused even when i unpause it. I then try and save and exit the game and it stays on the saving screen for hours so i turn my laptop off then back on again. I’ve tried to ‘repair’ the game ‘clear the cache’ Nothing is working! I love playing sims and i don’t want to loose all my packs and stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Or does anyone know why this is happening?
