Objects disappear in build/buy mode

This is a new issue since the June 4, 2020 update.  I've seen the comments about the Sharing is Caring N.A.P., I don't think that's what's causing this problem because items will disappear while I'm...

Sounds like either horrific lag or maybe an issue with Mods?

    @Bluebellflora I fixed it by backing up my save files and deleting the whole Sims 4 folder, then re-adding everything. Thanks!
