Re: Unable to start: The Sims 4 is already running - Mac only

Hi, im trying to run sims 4 for the 1st time since they switched from Origin to EA and it's not going well! I've downloaded EA on my MacBook, updated sims, and tried running the game but it says it's already running. I've restarted my laptop, reset it, deleted and redownloaded EA AND sims 4 but nothing is working! I've also checked my task manger but nothing there suggests sims is running on this device. I'd really appreciate some advice!
