Re: [WORKAROUND] game/Mac freezes on Apple silicon Macs

I couldn't even get the Origin launcher to run on the new M1 MacBook Pro. It shows it was incompatible both on the website and after installation, as there was a error message. For the website it said, "Looks like you're on an unsupported version of Mac!" It lets me download an older version and that's it. After installation, the app says "This app is not compatible with the version of MacOS. Please contact the developer to update this app and for more information." I found a workaround with the web launcher, but came with another hurdle with The Sims 4 unable to run at all due to it also being incompatible with the M1 MacBooks. Weirdly enough, The Sims 4 doesn't even detect my MacBook as compatible, despite the obvious requirement of Windows or Mac. I honestly don't know how those tech Youtubers are able to get this game and the launcher running.
