Hi everyone,
My new Mac finally arrived today so I could test the game on it. This is the Mac, it's the bog-standard 13" MacBook Air with no upgrades, 8-core CPU and 7-core GPU:
Origin and the game happily installed and I had no freezing whilst in CAS or leaving CAS and loading into a Lot. My in-game default options:
For those of you having to enable Vsync in order to get the game to work I have a couple of questions, just out of curiosity:
- Did you use a Time Machine backup or Migration Assistant to copy stuff over from your old Mac including the game installation?
- Did you start the game with a brand new Sims 4 folder or did you use an existing one?
- Did you change any of the default graphics options before loading into CAS?
- Could you please post here a copy/paste of this section of the Config.log file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
