Can you move your whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop then launch the game and start a new save to see if it still happens?

I ended up starting a whole new save and just started completely new and remade my sim and now it seems to be working fine!

I have had a reoccurring error on certain lots when I try building, moving in sims, and interacting with the lot in any way (mostly random lots, as of now I only have run into 3 lots so far). I have tried the troubleshooting techniques for the error 801, reviewed other error 801 related problems, removed my mods, redownloading, etc. and no solution. I did however find the issue is stemming from my saves since when I erased saves, all lots were working. I should also note that once the 801 error alert pops up, the game will continuously load to no end until I eventually force quit the game. All other lots work and function at 100% but for some reason I am unable to interact with these select lots. All 3 of them are residential. Any help?

Hi, I've been reading this thread and have been following all the instructions. I've had this problem for a while now, and since I've already lost everything in my sims game twice (households, builds, library, etc.) I've been trying to be extra cautious. I figured out which save had been causing this 801 problem, but it's the save that basically everything I made so far is in and I really don't know what to do. I've tried literally everything and it looks like the only solution is to let it go and start from scratch again... ☹️ 

It does have some mods and cc, but even when I took them all out and tested everything the game still didn't work and the error kept on popping up.
