Re: Sims 4 Not Showing Up In Applications :(
@arcticxsimmer The search function doesn't always work properly—I just searched for "sims 3" and "the sims 3" on my mac, where the game is most definitely installed and functional, and all I saw was a single scripterror. So it's always better to look directly in your Applications folder, or wherever you expect an app to be.
If you can't find TS4 in Applications, perhaps you selected a different destination for it, or maybe the install process failed before it could generate a folder at all. In either case, it sounds like the install is borked. It's probably a good idea to uninstall and start over. Go to your Origin library, right-click on the TS4 icon, and select Uninstall. (If you do find the game in your Apps folder, even if trying to launch gives you the same error message, you could try to repair the game first; the option is on the same list as uninstall.)
Once you've uninstalled, it's a good idea to run the Origin reset tool for macs. Then you can try reinstalling. Make sure to note the path listed for installation, so you know where to loook for it later.

If this doesn't work, it might be a good idea to uninstall and reinstall Origin completely, and try again.
