So one of my save files completely disappeared from the load saves after I purchased For Rent and Businesses & Hobbies. I've checked my trash and did a search for the "save_" and nothing outside the saves folder shows up. I don't have my computer set up to back up to icloud at all so any other help?

Not sure what you were searching for using "save_"? Also using Spotlight or Finder search is useless when looking for files located in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder as the results are hidden for some reason. You should navigate to the folder and look.
Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and copy this search command at the command prompt and hit enter/return. After a while it will finish the search. You will know when it is finished because the command prompt will reappear, it may take a while and produce a long list:
find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/nullCopy and paste all of the search results into a post here. You can remove your Mac user account name from the results and replace it with something else but I need to see the full file paths.
