Red line when sims 4 game crashes

my sims 4 game crashes and a red line pops up and makes me get out the game , then in cas it’s always a glitch line popping up! Is there anyway I can fix this. And yes I have custom content and mods but this never happened before it only happened like 2 time with this red line.

I have a IMAC 2019 .

    Please try the clean folder so as to not waste unnecessary troubleshooting steps when the issue could be mod related.

    It says nothing about a red line and my game crashing only about a mac and other stuff.

    You’re following the instructions to create a new Sims 4 folder. You have to test in a new clean game with NONE of your current saves/mods/settings etc. if you’re still getting the issue then it may be a problem with your Mac but troubleshooting is a process of elimination. This is step 1.
