Save File Not loading in for Mac.

Hi, So a while back my Sims 4 folder was full and at the time I needed the space for other things. So I saved everything onto my Google Drive and left it for several months. I just recently decided that I'd like to come back to the sims, But when I try and open up my old save files they don't load in. I've tried renaming it I've tried everything at this point and I need help!

What is the location of your Saves folder? Saves will only load if they are directly in the local user's Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder. They won't load from Google Drive or any other location.

Never rename the saves folder or individual saves.

So after a very long search of what the deal was, For some reason, everything I uploaded to Google Drive was named ".icloud" at the end. I think that's the main reason nothing is showing up every time I try and download the flies. Now I'm just trying to figure out the quickest way for me to rename everything or get rid of the ".icloud" without it taking 12 months.

Yes but it won't load because it is in iCloud. It needs to be in your local Documents folder.

The scratch folder is created when you launch the game and is automatically removed when you successfully quit the game however, if your game crashes or freezes and you have to Force Quit it, the scratch folder will remain. It should be manually trashed if still there and the game is closed.
