Sims 4 freezing and not responding after clicking Manage Worlds or The Gallery

Hi all,

I play on Macintosh, latest version, M3 2024. Never had issues with running the game (with around 100 mods or less) even on my previous 2019 Macbook Air, UNTIL RECENTLY.

I recently downloaded the For Rent Expansion Pack, in which appeared to work until about 3 days ago.

 When loading into build mode, buttons appear to work until I press Manage Worlds, The Gallery, etc. After spam clicking the buttons (and yes I've tried being patient to see if it will load), I must Force Quit the game as even pressing Save & Exit Game is not working. 

I can still place items on the lot. However, I would like to access The Gallery and return back to Manage Worlds screen when I please. 

I've tried removing the "local cache package" thingo, Tray, my Mods folder, and repairing the game in Origin (all packs AND base game).

Is this because of a recent patch or update? Getting super frustrated with this issue as I was extremely excited to play with For Rent, and purely because of the money I've invested in this game. 

Please let me know if/how I can fix this issue!
