Sims 4 Mac Won't Start

What version of the Mac OS are you running? Please note that you need at least Lion (10.7) at minimum to run the game. It is best to run the game on Maverick (10.9) or Yosemite (10.10).
I have 10.9.5 and am having the same issue. It cashes every single time! I have played once for 4 hours. After trying to play again it keeps crashing. It's getting really annoying. And I am disappointed as I've been looking forward to this for a long time. Please help us.

I am having the same issue on a Macbook with 10.7.5 with 4gb of memory. I reformatted the computer and installed a fresh copy of lion in fear that maybe something else was causing the issue. No luck, It crashes instantly after I launch it. My daughter has been bugging me for days to get it fixed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled origin at least 5 times.
Please help

Please can you be more specific. Where do you get to in the loading process? Have you added any content or updated anything since last being able to play?
