Re: Game crashing or not loading especially after updating? Post here.

Hi, I’ve been unable to open my game for the past three days. When I click "Play" in the EA app, The Sims 4 icon briefly appears, then closes itself after a few seconds, and the EA app reopens.

Steps Tried:

• The issue occurs even without mods
• Repaired the game via the EA app
• Reinstalled the game
• The game updated to the latest version while repairing
• My Mac has no available software updates
• Game files are located in: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4

Despite all this, the issue persists. I haven't modified any files, and the game was working fine earlier. I simply closed the app, and when I tried launching the game again a few hours later, this started happening (a few days ago).

• MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
• Processor: 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
• Graphics: Radeon Pro 560 (4GB) & Intel HD Graphics 630 (1536MB)
• RAM: 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
• macOS Version: Ventura 13.7.4

I’m not sure what else to try at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
