So I just bought the sims 4, and it downloaded on origin. i tried playing and it said the game was already running. I tried looking up how to fix this, but all the methods were for PC not for Mac. My computer meets all the system requirements, and I tried restarting it but nothing works. Can anyone help?
I had this problem too, legit no one has a mac. What i did was take my Electronic Arts folder out of my applications. Like if you click finder, on the side bar press Applications and check if you have your electronic Arts folder there. Basically what I did was make sure that there was only one version of my electronic arts folder, and that it was in Documents. Make sure its the original one, not an alias or a copy (i think you know its a copy if it has a little black arrow at the bottom of it). Also check on the finder sidebar that you don't have an electronic arts section (like a tab next to applications, downloads, documents, etc) idk if that'll work for you but i hope it does 🙂
