game not starting up

So i have tried starting up the sims 4 app but for some reason it kicks me to the EA app with no message attached, when trying to start up from the EA appm the sims 4 app wont even budge, thid has never happened to me for the 5 years i have been playing, if anyone can help, PLEASE DO, i havent played in months and wanted to test some build hacks, if you dont have the answer its ok and even if you have a little help, its still some form of help, so yeah...thank you if you have some help!
