black screen and atrocious lag. please help!
Okay so I played sims all day yesterday and my game was working completely fine. Today I open my laptop to play and the game has completely reset my graphics and UI settings. weird. So, I change them back to what I usually use best as I can remember and I go to load my current save file. The game takes like 5 minutes to load but that’s normal for me. However when it finally does load the game screen is totally black, the UI however is fine, but there is an atrocious lag.
So, I quit the game and went to repair, didn’t help. I tried traveling with my sim to a new lot and the lot wasn’t black but the lag continues to make the game unplayable. Can anyone help?
