Camera spinning nonstop during gameplay even after troubleshooting
Hi! I’m having a really frustrating issue in The Sims 4 and I’m hoping someone here can help because my camera is acting like it drank six espressos 😭Basically the camera suddenly starts spinning nonstop while I’m playing. It keeps rotating by itself and the only way I can temporarily stop it is by switching to Free Camera and pressing ESC. Sometimes that fixes it for the rest of the session sometimes it only works for a few seconds and then the camera goes wild again.
What I’ve already tried:
- repaired the game through the EA app (many times)
- deleted the cache files
- removed all mods and tested completely vanilla
- added my mods back afterward (I only use MCCC and a faster homework mod)
- checked that everything is updated
- restarted my PC and the game multiple times
The issue keeps happening no matter what I do. I’ll attach a video so it’s easier to understand because honestly it looks ridiculous 🥲 any help or ideas would be amazing. Thank you! 💜
Thank you so much for replying! I just realised the issue was actually my keyboard. The comma key was broken and sometimes my PC thought I was pressing it which made the camera start spinning by itself. I’ve already fixed it so everything is working normally now. Thanks again! 💜
