Hi so when i try to play my sims 4, the main loading screen goes white and the bar above will minimise itself. Now i have deleted some of the cache files, and also uninstalled and reinstalled origin, i have also went into origin to repair and update the sims 4, but to no avail everytime when i do this, and i try to load the sims 4, it will just go back to being the white screen and the bar minimzing itself.I really dont know what else to do here.Someone please help xx
I'm having a similar issue, except my window doesn't open at all and it tells me that the file cant be found. ive reinstalled, moved, repaired, updated, nothing ☹️
@erinlive Please try disabling Origin in-game: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.
If that doesn't help, please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit. Let me know either way.
If you still get the white screen, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Hi fellow simers, I am having a real issue with trying to play the game. So when i go into sims 4, it the loading screen will turn white, and the bar at the top will then minmise itself. So i had then went on and read online that you need to delete the cache files which i did. So after this i have also unistalled and reinstalled origin, now when origin is open it will then tell me that it needs to verify the sims 4 game files, so then i will watch all the games upload in the download manager section, so after when this happens, i will then repair the game and also update this. After i do this every time it will go back to the same issue at the start, which is the white screen loading page and then the minimising bar. I dont know what else to do here, can someone give me advice or some help please???????

Hi when i attach the file it just says unsupported extension type?
@erinlive Save the dxdiag as a .txt file, and you can attach it. Or run a new dxdiag if the existing one has a different file extension and you can't change it.
