Can't load save data
My PC randomly deleted a bunch of files today, and before I noticed, I tried to play Sims like I normally do, but the main game on my opening screen was a game I hadn't played since 2018. After I saw that, I restored all the deleted files back to their original locations. I checked that my most recent save file was in there (it was saved from Feb. 8, 2025). I opened the game again, and the 2018 game was still on the opening screen. I clicked load game, and the most recent game available was still 2018. I tried moving out all of the save data that was not the one I wanted to load, that didn't work--my game simply stopped showing the "load game" option. I tried restarting my PC, restarting Sims, uninstalling Sims, etc. What can I do to load this save file?

dunlapcb For the saves that you found but that won't load, please post a screenshot showing their names and sizes. As in, open the folder they're in and use Windows key-shift-S to capture the relevant portion of the screen. michelledoestuff Feel free to do this as well if you find any saves and restoring them to the correct location doesn't help.
