Can't move my Sims 4 DLCs out of Origin (to Steam)

Since the news of Origin's end started I've been meaning to eventually move to Steam. This was also affected by my move to the Linux Operative System, which meant the start of my issues with emulator...

    @Dan_Urios  What I meant was this:

    • Uninstall the Origin version
    • Install the base game from Steam
    • Install any packs your Steam account owns through Steam
    • Login to Origin and download any packs you own through Origin, but not the base game

    As I said before, this is the way a mixed install has worked since Sims 4 first came to Steam.  However, if this isn't working for you, please let me know exactly what you see when you try to install your Origin-owned packs through Origin.

Can someone help me, please? I seem to have lost all my packs and extras through Origins. I don't understand. I have asked for help, and I got a case # but not getting help. My mother went on Hospice, and my grandson was murdered, and it is now the end of July. My mother has passed, and we have had both funerals. I want to return to my game to get my mind off reality for a while. I was hoping all the stuff would be back—no such luck. I don't have the best knowledge of computers. Who do I have to get a hold of to send proof of purchase so I can play my game? I don't want to try to buy everything all over again. I shouldn't have to buy it all over again.

@chex00  Does your computer run Windows, and you're now using the EA App; or do you have a Mac and still use Origin?  Did you ever buy any packs through Steam?
