cant save build to ssd

Hello.  Hope someone can help.  Sometimes when I try to save a build to local ssd the game will freeze and throw up a message..something about online saving...but I dont want to upload to the online gallery I would like to save local. see included..

After shutting down the game and thus losing the build, I can rebuild and then save, but it will sometimes not let me save the build locally by throwing up another cannot save message.

specs

windows 11

EA simsboost off

r77800x3d

48gb ram

nv3060 12gb

2gb ssd C drive(--> where sims saved/run)+2tb virual drive+4tb wdhd

The game never used to do this its only been the last past year, where its failing to save the builds to ssd.

Anyone got an idea as to fix this?

    Ehkay​  You're sure you're only saving to your local library, not to the Gallery?  I don't think I've heard of the game trying to upload to the Gallery when the player didn't want that.

    At any rate, try disabling Online Social Features, under Options > Game Options > Other.  This will disable your access to the Gallery entirely, at least until you reenable it and restart the game.  But when you're not trying to use the Gallery at all, that should be fine.  And if you're starting with a Gallery build, you can save it to your library, disable the feature, restart, and work on the build without the connection active.

    Hi puzzlezaddict​ Yes thats correct, I am attempting to save my build to the local ssd, and not upload the item to the gallery. 

    If you may look at the attatched picture, its the bottom right hand button that is clicked in order to save to local file.  Sometime while trying to save my build to ssd, the game will just freeze and not allow me to do anything, so then its a task manger kill sims 4 process.  Also other times, the game will throw up the attatched message, but this time Im allowed to actually save the entire sims 4...but not that specific build to hard drive.  Oh well...

    Anyhoo... I will try your idea to disable the sims4 online social element and then play, build and see if the game lets me save my own build to local drive.
