Can't save game after latest update

pipersfun2  I've split your post into its own thread because you posted in a thread about a completely different issue.

Does "save as" work?  Can you save your progress in a different save?  Please test both if you haven't already and let me know.

Additionally, I'd like to know whether the saving process looks like it worked, but when you reload the save, your progress is gone; or whether the saving process fails in some way, and how.  Please also post a screenshot of any error message you see.

I have the same issue. I can't open the menu, as it will just not show. I can't save, manage worlds, or go to settings. I have to close the game via taskmanager. 

renskefx  What happens when you try to load the menu?  Does it help to play in windowed mode?  You can force the game to use it by editing Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  Open the file, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).
