crashing because of graphic driver?

Hello! I’m getting really frustrated and looking for any help :’)

So recently, like a day or two ago, my Sims 4 started crashing after playing for like a minute. I did some research on Reddit and it looks like my graphic driver needs updated? I know this because when I checked the configure (or something like that) it says “Found: 0, Supported: 1” For context, I use Windows 11

How do I go about fixing this? I am not tech savvy  so again, looking for any help I can get! I love this game and don’t want to lose it :( I am redownloading it right now, deleted in an attempt to do anything lol

    https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/en-us/product/inspiron-14-7440-2-in-1-laptop/drivers

Normally I wouldn't say you need to update, but since you're getting crashes in a graphically-intensive program, and Dell lists this update as critical, it's worth doing.  Download the driver dated Nov 10. Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart the computer afterwards and before trying to play.

If that doesn't help, please try pausing OneDrive before you play.  Your dxdiag lists one related crash, and OneDrive can definitely interfere with Sims 4.  If you'd like to get rid of it, or at least change its settings to keep it away from your Sims 4 data, please see this post:

To pause syncing, right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, or sometimes it's hidden in the Tray (^ icon).  If you need a visual, the post above has several.

One important point though is what GPU is listed in the Config file: if it's the wrong one, that could account for the crashing.  So please copy the Graphics Device Info section of Config.log, just those ten lines or so, and paste the text here.

Please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
