crashing
I've tried to start my Sims 4 game about 10 to 15 times today already. Every single time it crashed, sometimes after the first loading screen, but definitely by the second loading screen at the lates...
Choooiii Right, you're back to having too little free space on C, I guess because there wasn't enough else to clear from the drive? Since D is an SSD, you can just move the Sims 4 user folder there instead, or uninstall the game and reinstall it to D, or both. Uninstalling and reinstalling is simple: uninstall through the EA App, and when you reinstall, choose a folder on D as the location. (Don't put it directly on D, rather a folder like D:\Games.)
If you want to move the user folder to D, here's how:
Or, since D is an internal drive, you could move the entire Documents directory there:

Either answer is fine.
I uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it on a different SSD. After that, I put my save file, which I'd previously backed up to my desktop, back into the game folder. I started the game, and everything was great.
Then, I closed the game, re-added my mods, and started the game again. But now my save file is gone, and I'm wondering what I did wrong.
