Creating new sims causes error 803

So I downloaded the Sims and played the tutorial household with no issue and even moved 2 new sims into it, but when I bought one of the existing homes nearby and made a new sim to move in, it gives ...

@xxlivvs It's possible that it's only affecting one save game. Did you start a new save game ?

Yes so I removed all the previous saved games from the folder

    @xxlivvs Could be just the one save that's not working then.
