When I turn on script mods allowed and click save changes and exit game and reopen the toggle is off for it. I have tried 10 times and that is how I always turn them back on.

this is usually caused by your antivirus program blocking the user folder.

silly question...... did you click accept changes? and click on both script and other mods options?
