[CURRENT ISSUE] Game won't Open says "already Running"

My sims game wont even open or load since I updated the Nov 2020 patch.  I removed all Mods and CC in a back up folder - Mods folder is completely empty and updated my game.  I tired to open my g...

@angie_sara Do you know how to open task manager? Try seeing if the game is actually running in it. IF it is, you may have to force shut it off before trying to play sims 4 again. I understand your not playing the game, but maybe somehow it thinks it is.

    @dimon6579 Yeah, I have tried that as well with task manager. its not running.

      @angie_sara Sorry not sure how to help you with this. It was about the only thing i can think of doing. I hope you get your issue resolved. In the meantime, i have my own issues with the current patch crashing my game often after 30 minutes of play.
