No. I would never use external drive for games. It’s the same as C, it’s an SSD drive My C and E drive is SSD and my D is an HDD. My D is for videos and pictures only, My C is the Microsoft OS, programs for the fans in the computer, streaming programs and all programs like Origin, Steam, Epic. I don’t have this problem with the games from Epic and Steam.
