I keep getting this error code. I have gotten rid of origin and ALL it's files. I have uninstalled and re-installed The Sims 4 twice. It's still coming up. I am at a loss now what to do.

    @BlondeButerfly  This error is currently most often related to antivirus software, so please set an exception in your antivirus for TS4_DX9_x64.exe, the game's executable when running in (the default) DirectX 9 mode.  If you only use Windows Defender, and Controlled Folder Access is enabled, set the exception there.
