I have followed every forum post and Reddit post I have seen about this issue I have done ALL things recommended to do with the firewall the permissions, moving files, removing mods and content, clearing cache, uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing literally everything the game will not load or start
I don’t know what to do it was fine until my laptop was updated last night
I do not use steam I use the EA App I don’t know what else I can do does the game just not work anymore?
SwellImplants Then disable Controlled Folder Access entirely and see whether it helps.
If it doesn't, try the other suggestions in the "already running" thread I linked earlier. At the very least, the new admin Windows account should work if you do in fact create a local account, as in, not linked to your Microsoft account or any email address. You'll know you're making a local account when you're asked a series of security questions instead.
