Cursor jumping to corners of screen

Same issues. Not a brand new computer, but nowhere near old enough to be having problems like this.  EA app works fine but as soon as Sims4 starts to load, cursor jumps randomly around screen making game unplayable.  Touchscreen controls are the only way to close out of Sims app because cursor wont work properly.  dxdiag info below 

(side note, trying to attach dxdiag file through 'insert media' doesnt work as it doesn't allow text files to be attached this way. Ive attached using 'attachment' [paperclip icon]).
