@PerfectPlumbobs I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section.
The simplest way to tell if you have cc is to remove your entire Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts. (You can just put it on your desktop.) Launch the game, start a new save, and see whether the eyebrows are still present in CAS. If they are, even in a clean game folder, then they're EA content, since the clean folder wouldn't have any other added files.
Don't worry about your saves or builds; they'll be in your old game folder. Once you've tested, you can trash the new folder and put the old one back, and everything will be back in your game again.
If you want confirmation from someone else though, you can always take a screenshot of the eyebrows in CAS and attach it to a post here. Then other players will be able to compare it to their own games.

Thank you so much for your reply!
im almost completely positive it’s CC, because it features colours I’ve never seen EA use, at least not in the order they’re displayed. And they’re definitely not even remotely similar to maxis match. I completely redownloaded my game on a completely empty computer, and they still showed up, without ever transferring over saves. Is there anyway there’s a sim in my saved gallery bin in the online features that could somehow have these very arched, flat, colourful brows that somehow keeps creeping back in? Or at the least, is there any new eyebrows with Realm of Magic that gave zero detail and are basically just strips of brown? I would include a picture but I uninstalled the game again in another bout to get rid of them

They look slightly similar to this, a little thicker, with multiple different colours and thicker fronts, as well as no texture. It shows up in the eyebrow catalog as the very first eyebrow, if that provides any context. If anyone’s first set of eyebrows looks a little similar to this, and looks like CC please let me know

This is similar because each CC is created on the basis of an EA object.
These are definitely EA eyebrows, but for some small error, you have these eyebrows of a different color. Why such a color. Have you not chosen to test in CAS sim with such a hair color? The eyebrow color in CAS is automatically set as the sim hair color in CAS unless you manually change this option. Choose a random sim with black hair for testing in CAS and look for those eyebrows. The TS4 is constructed so that no CC will even close to your game if you don't add it yourself. It won't get to the gallery either. You can send to the Gallery a sim with CC hair that will be visible in his photo but in the Gallery, he will be bald for every player who downloads him. Another simple way to check this is to send a sim to the Gallery with these eyebrows. If this is CC Galeria will immediately mark this sim with a blue key and for anyone who will download it, she will not have these eyebrows.
- 6 years ago@kreatora Thank you so much for taking time to reply. Do you know if in the recent patch or in ROM there were any new eyebrows added? Ones with absolutely no texture? I’ve never seen them until recently. When I say “the colours are different” I’m talking, the swatches are shaped different than the rest of EA eyebrows, and none of the colours are the same black, blues, purples, browns, etc. That EA uses. I’ve done multiple tests with changing hair colour, and the thumbnail always stays vibrant orange
