dowload game
I had my sims 4 game downloaded on my computer, and it worked fine, but after I updated it a few days ago it deleted itself and now tells me I have to download it again. however, when I select to download nothing happens

@anamartadacunhan Your antivirus may have quarantined part of Sims 4, making the game appear to have been uninstalled. So please look at your antivirus first, and restore/exempt anything related to the game.
If that doesn't help, do you still have a folder present that contains the game's program files? It would be wherever you originally installed, perhaps one of these locations:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4
If so, try deleting that folder; you'll need to close the EA App and kill the EABackgroundProcess in the Task Manager, or else restart your computer. Try again to install the game, with your antivirus disabled (temporarily) to be thorough. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.
