Everytime I start a new household my other Sims are not there

I have played Sims 4 for about 2 years now, the Goths died ages ago. But when I started a new household to acompany my others, the Goths were alive and so were the other Sims. And my Sims are not t...

I've deleted all the families that I have in the old save file, I then started a new family IN the old save file and my nephew started his own. Think it's kinda solved but hope they fix this bug.

It is part of the game! All of the Sims that you don't make are basically the starter Sims. This means in every world you have, the Goths will be alive, until they die again.

OK, but it doesn't explain what's going on with my households. I used to be able to visit families I previously made and now I can't,

  So what you're saying is that your save file split up in to multiple save files?

    I think that's whats happened. I've never had this problem before.

  What you did was start a new game.
  
  What you wanted was instead to press Add new Household on the world screen.
  
  Start the game then you can add any households you have saved to your Library one by one to the game.
